The fuselage landing gear fittings are made from .080 and .100 thick, 4130N steel plate. The rear landing attach fitting also has the wing strut attachment fitting built into it. The nice thing here is that the plans for these fittings are all drawn full scale.
Here is a group photo of all of the side "U" shaped pieces:
Here are both halves of wing strut attachment, which is part of the rear landing gear attachment fitting:
Here are the other parts of the gear attach fittings for the fuselage:
These pieces are where the bolts will go that attach the gear legs to the fuselage. This is for one side only, there are four more of these for the other side.
Now to put all of this together and fit it to the fuselage.
