I finally got around to making and installing the gap fairings that go between
the top of the gear legs and the fuselage. I also got the bottom wing
strut fairings from R & B Aircraft and fitted those. Here is the
finished product:
I also bought some hubcaps from Aircraft Spruce and painted them white. As
a nice finishing touch, I put the Miss'ippi Mudbug logo on the
hubcaps:
After that I went flying for about an hour and came home just before sunset.
As I got ready to push the airplane back into the hangar, I saw this
sunset forming up over the trees along the runway edge and grabbed my camera
for a nice shot:
I liked it so much I'm putting it on the home page for a while.
